LECTURES & TOOLS
[Enrolment information New !]
Lectures
Department of Information and Image Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University (Undergraduate Course, 4th Year Student )

Lecture name : Remote Sensing Technology (Spring, 2 units)
Day : Friday
Time : 10:30 - 12:00
Class : CEReS Lecture Room 102 / Faculty of Engineering Room 9-106

Contents :
The image data retrieved by remote sensing techniques (satellite data and ground observation) inform the characteristics of earth surface and atmosphere condition. In this lecture, we discuss the basic knowledge and data analysis method or remote sensing techniques and the applications by using visible, near infrared wavelength and microwave, including the sensors.

In this lecture, the microwave remote sensing (synthetic aperture radar) system, signal processing and mainly applications is introduced.

Keywords :
Microwave remote sensing, Synthetic Aperture Radar, environmental monitoring, extraction of physical information

Language : Japanese
