Contents : 電磁気学の基礎を講義を中心に、前半電気、後半磁気の形で行う。専門での応用可能なレベルに達することを目指し、高校における基礎知識も必要に応じて復習しながら、電磁気学の基本的な原理を理解する上で必要となる数学(ベクトル解析、微分演算子、偏微分方程式など)についても幅広く講義し、理解度を確認し高めるための例題演習も適宜行う。

Contents : The image data retrieved by remote sensing techniques (satellite data and ground observation) inform the characteristics of earth surface and atmosphere condition. In this lecture, we discuss the basic knowledge and data analysis method or remote sensing techniques and the applications by using visible, near infrared wavelength and microwave, including the sensors.  In this lecture, the microwave remote sensing (synthetic aperture radar) system, signal processing and mainly applications is introduced.

Contents : In this lecture, the system and radar imaging processing is introduced including history of synthetic aperture radar (SAR), basic theory in SAR, electromagnetics (electromagnetic wave, polarization, absorption, scattering etc), radar equation (antenna pattern etc), pulse compression technique and image production in range direction, synthetic aperture technique and image production in azimuth direction, basic analysis of SAR images etc.
