Welcome to the official website of International Workshop on Synthetic Aperture Radar 2009 (IWSAR 2009).

The International Workshop on Synthetic Aperture Radar 2009 will be held on February 16, 2009 at University Convention Hall, Chiba University,  Japan under the supporting of Venture Business Laboratory (VBL) and Center for Environmental Remote Sensing (CEReS), Chiba University.

The main goal of the workshop is to promote the Novel Innovations on research and applications of Synthetic Aperture Radar and to exchange information on recent research directions in this area. The conference will cover many current topics as aircraft and small satellite onboard SAR system, radar application, signal processing, antenna design, interferometry, polarimetry, mapping and so on. An important role of the workshop will be to provide a forum for technical interactions among industry practitioners, research scientists from subject matter area.
