Satellite Images of Pangandaran Tsunami Affected Area

Pangandaran city, Indonesia was crashed by a tsunami on Monday, July 17, 2006. The tsunami was created by a 7.7 magnitude undersea earthquake that struck 150 miles of Indonesia's sourthern coast. The above pictures shows the Marine Observation Satellite (MOS) and Japanese Earth Resources Satellite (JERS-1 SAR) images taken on 2 August 1989 and 25 July 1998, respectively.
